I decided to hike the 100-mile desert section of the 995.65 mile Idaho Centennial Trail in the spring of 2024. 100 miles is a drop in the bucket in a 1,000-mile trail, but you need to start somewhere!

Learn more about the trail here, and the trail organization that maintains a lot of the tread here.
Check out the excellent guidebook, The Hiker’s Guide: Idaho Centennial Trail here, and I’m offering the maps and data I created for my 100-mile section hike for free here (a $5 donation is suggested, and I’ll donate a portion of that back to the Idaho Trails Association).
